State-of-art clinical practice guidelines for diagnosing and managing asthma that update the 1991 expert panel report and incorporate the most recent scientific information available on the care of patient with asthma. Provides information on treating asthma at all severity levels and stresses both clinical and self-management strategies. also provides a comprehensive discussion of current medications and their appropiate use.
